'As soon as I could whistle, I started making up songs', Davis recalls. 'Never studied music. The tunes just come to me.' He wrote some of Elvis Presley's big hits, including Memories, Don't Cry, Daddy, and In the Ghetto. But even if he never wrote another hit, I Believe In Music has made him immortal.
