The melody of this song was adapted from Chopin's "Fantaisie Impromptu in C# Minor." Although introduced in 1917, it was featured in the 1946 Hollywood musical "The Dolly Sisters" in which John Payne sang it. Perry Como then had a hit record and the revived song was on "Your Hit Parade" for twelve weeks.Harry Carroll ( 1892 - 1962 )
