Notes: ~ The two RCA recordings of "You're Nearer" were done almost twenty years apart and are remarkable representations of Mr. Como's vocal consistency. Both recordings are virtual mirror images with only slight variation due primarily to the orchestration. The 1968 recording is superb in every respect, almost impossible to better, and one is certainly given to wonder why it was recorded again but both recordings are excellent, proving only that Mr. C's talents have certainly not diminished through the passing of years.
