Note: the Italian phrase "ti
voglio bene " means "I really, really care about you"
and is an expression of affection also used in non-romantic situations.
The word "signorina" is used as a courtesy titled for an
unmarried woman in an Italian-speaking area, equivalent to
"Miss." and "mia signorina" might be interpreted as
"my lady". ( with appreciation to David Schaider for his
investigation of this phrase on behalf of the Como Discography. David also
helped extensively with Italian transcriptions, and translation, for
Perry's 1966 Italian album recorded in Rome.)
