a million-seller as was Perry's recording for RCA Victor.
Other best-sellers
were recorded by Jo Stafford for Capitol, Frank Sinatra for Columbia,

Bing Crosby for Decca. In the 1958 Hollywood Musical it was sung by
Giorgio Tozzi,
dubbing for Rossano Brazzi and Mitzi Gaynor. There were later
popular recordings by Jay
and the Americans in 1965 for United Artists and
Jane Olivor for Columbia in 1977.
