Notes: ~ introduced by Ruth Etting in the 1928 Stage musical "Whoopee" and on records by Benny Goodman who recorded it twice for Columbia in 1934 and 1936. In the 1951 Gus Kahn film biography "I'll See You In My Dreams" it was sung by Patrice Wymore. The song was so associated with Etting that it became the title song for her screen biography "Love Me or Leave Me" in 1955 in which Doris Day played the role of Etting.
